Rock Fitness's School of Rocks has the courses to help you take your climbing to the next level. Our team of experienced instructors will teach you the skills you need to climb safely and confidently, from basic technique to advanced movement.
Beginner
Learning rope climbing and belaying is essential to climbing high walls.
Learn how to properly belay and the rope techniques.
Learn how to read climbs and identify the best holds.
Develop your strength and technique.
Take our beginner climbing 101 course. This is the best way to learn the basics of rock climbing safely and effectively.
This is a 4 part class, starting the first thursday of each month, and includes learning to Belay.
Find a climbing partner. Climbing with a partner is always more fun and safer.
Start with easy climbs. Don't try to climb anything too difficult too soon.
Be patient and don't get discouraged. Learning to climb takes time and practice.
Intermediate
After being comfortable with top roping, the next step is lead climbing/belaying, to take the rope up with you. This is needed in most outdoor climbing.
Building anchors and learning to rappel is also needed in outdoor climbing. in this class you will learn different important climbing knots, anchors, and rappel techniques.
